Notes – Long sleeved PSG Home shirt as worn when Vahid Halilhodžić’s side disappointed in the manager’s second season at the Parc des Princes. After finishing 2nd and winning the Coupe de France in the previous season there was a lot of hope for an improvement in the Bosnian manager’s 2nd season, however the side never really looked like matching the performances of the previous season. In Ligue 1, the side could only manage a 9th place finish, winning just 12 games all season. The story was the same in the Champions League as the Parisians finished bottom of their group with Chelsea, Porto and CSKA Moscow, winning just once in a 2-0 win over Porto. Halilhodžić was eventually replaced in February 2005 with the side languishing in 13th place. New manager Laurent Fournier managed to bring some stability and consistency and guided the side to 9th place
