Notes: Brehme, who scored the goal that won the World Cup for Germany, played the full match and was in superb form helping inspire Inter all the way to glory in the competition. The left back supremo made 36 appearances in all competitions firing the side past Partizan, Atalanta, Sporting CP and then Serie A rivals Roma in the Final to secure the club’s first Euopean trophy since 1965. Brehme spent 4 years in his prime at San Siro and made 86 appearances for his country.
